Spring Competition
PNA’s Spring Netball Competition is played on weeknights in school term 4 from October to November. The eight week season is open to teams from NetSetGO right through to Seniors, and includes various mixed divisions, as well as a Walking Netball Competition. Registrations for Spring open in early August each year.
Spring fixtures and results can be found on the PlayHQ website >
Information Pack
The Spring Information Pack contains all the rules and information on Competition details, how to process Spring Team Nominations and Player Registrations. This pack is reviewed and updated yearly.
Please note there will be a strict limit on team nominations so make sure you get them in by 9am on the 27th of August.
If you are wanting to join a team or are looking for additional players, please create a comment on the ‘Spring Players’ post on our Facebook page.
Scoring and Timing
It is the duty of each team to provide a scorer or timer each week. To find out your team duty, simply look at the fixture on PlayHQ. The first named team is responsible for collecting the scorecard from outside the match day office and keeping score. The second named team is responsible for timing. Please note: it is the winning team’s responsibility to return the scorecard to the office after each match.
TIMING
Timekeepers must use an appropriate timing device for timing all quarters and breaks (except for NetSetGO matches which start and finish on the siren). Mobile phones are NOT suitable. See section 3.17 of the Competitions Handbook for more information and match times.
SCORING
We ask all clubs and anyone involved with match day officiating to familiarise themselves with the scorecard requirements. Penalties may apply for missing or incorrect information. See section 3.16 of the Competitions Handbook for more information.
